Trouble at Dynamic Gaming Systems; Jan. 25th Shutdown Date Reported

Dynamic Gaming Systems is among the smallest of the online poker networks, true, but it seems as if not be one of the smallest much longer--- the network is apparently scheduled to shut down on January 25th. The network hosts a number of smaller skins, the most well-known of which to U.S. players is probably Wingows Poker. The network is also home to Jungle Poker and a handful of other, lesser skins.

While games still seem to be going on on the network, whether or not anybody will be paid should they happen to win is another question altogether. A report several days ago at the usually reliable Sportsbook Review offered the following:

01.08.2008 (10:11 AM CST)
BigJuicyOdds (SBR rating D+) poker network, Dynamic Gaming Solutions (DGS) folds
BJO states that the provider has closed with licensee and player funds. BJO also tells SBR it will be transferring all poker balances to a new network provider, Dobrosoft. The migration of accounts is expected to take three days. Players can also request a payout or a balance credit in the BigJuicyOdds sportsbook, which is separately operated. Players with other poker brands may be less fortunate. JunglePoker.com is owned by the Dynamic Gaming network and is not expected to settle accounts. G2Gpoker, a poker-only gaming site, has previously stiffed players as part of the Futurebet Gaming network.

A more detailed discussion of the no-pay problem which seems to be affecting affiliates, member rooms and players is available at this thread at the Poker Analysis Forum, which dates from the very last days of December. DGS, which is based in Costa Rica, is reported to be several months in arrears in payments to its creditors and owed accounts, and players report withdrawals not going through as scheduled. And posted therein is this statement, purportedly from DGS, though its authenticity remains in question:

We regret to inform you that Dynamic Gaming Systems Corporation S.A. has become insolvent. It is unable to meet its ongoing obligations.

This has resulted due to a number of reasons including: 1) the lack of players that have been signed up on the network and 2) The loss of a number of payment solution providers including most recently Epassporte.

The network will remain open until Friday January 25th at noon eastern time. The cashier section has been turned off and all tournaments have been cancelled. If any licensee would like to acquire the network at no cost please respond to this email and we will contact you.

We anticipate a receiver will be appointed to liquidate the assets.

At least 19 and as many as 22 small rooms are involved in the situation. A few of the rooms, such as Big Juicy Odds Poker, LuckyHog Poker and G2G Poker, have been reported to be in the process of trying to relocate to other network, but the status of player deposits made through those skins and held by DGS remains in doubt. The rooms in question:

10Large Poker
Big Juicy Odds Poker
Bubba’s Poker
Butcher Poker
Club 222 Poker
Dolly Poker
FullBet Poker
G2G Poker
Jungle Poker
KingFish Poker
Live For The Flop Poker
LuckyHog Poker
MyPokerSite.com
OK USA Poker
OPT Room Poker
Panther Poker
PlayPokerPlus
QPoker
RiverFlop Poker
Top Speed Poker
Wingows Poker
Zero2Hero Poker

LuckyHog.com is standing behind its Players.

We at LuckyHog.com entered the online poker world in March 2007 with good intentions with a foundation built on player integrity and fair play. Unfortunately, due to circumstances out of our control our reputation as an online poker company has been tarnished due to the actions of dishonest and poorly managed networks.

Everyone in the online poker industry is aware of the circumstances around networks such as Future Bet and DGS. Look no further than the former licensees to see that both networks left their client licensees – and players - in precarious situations.

Some companies have folded, re-opened or have opened new companies under different names, trying to carry on business-as-usual, promoting their new brands to unsuspecting players. Many clients, we know, are unwittingly signing up with the same operators who have simply rebranded.

We at LuckyHog.com are standing behind our brand and our clients. We recognize that this is a situation that has hurt them, due to no fault of there own.

To set the record straight; Future Bet and DGS were responsible for taking player deposits, collecting rake, not paying/processing player withdrawals and not paying out the licensee there monies owed. Not only were licencees, such as Luckyhog.com, not paid out, but the networks took the players’ money as well. Luckyhog.com, and others, were left holding the bag and with a bad reputation. Most licensees have closed their doors or tried to hide from former clients under new brand names.

WE, LuckyHog.com’s owners and management, vow not to slam the door in our clients’ faces. Instead, we have made it clear that we will go into our own pockets to pay out the money that our clients are owed.

To this end:

On January 16, 2008, LuckyHog.com launched on the MERGE GAMING NETWORK, the same network as Carbon Poker. We trust that this is a safe and secure platform for our valued players to be on. With thousands of player’s online everyday and countless tournaments, ring games and styles of poker, we are sure that our old and new players will be more than satisfied.

In the interest of fair comment and to dispel rumours and allegations about LuckyHog.com:

• LuckyHog.com does not and will not have anything to do with Strip Poker.
• LuckyHog.com does not currently operate a sports betting entity on its own or on its site and has no plans to do so in the near future
• LuckyHog.com does not currently operate casino games and has no plans to do so in the near future

LuckyHog.com is a POKER ONLY site.

Currently all players who sign up to www.luckyhog.com will get a $3.00 sign up bonus. (Some restrictions apply) We have had countless people from the old LuckyHog.com system sign up new accounts and be credited there full balance from the old system. The accounts we cannot transfer is any promotional money or monies won on free rolls from the Future Bet network. When that network shut us out we were unable to obtain reliable information on promotional money balances.
All affiliates have been or will be paid out upon sign-up to the new system. Again: all a player or affiliate needs to do is contact us at info@luckyhog.com with their old/new information as well as outstanding balances. Once we confirm the balance, the money will be placed in the new accounts within 24-48 hours. Also, we have increased our deposit bonuses to all of our valued players to 200% up to $1,000.

In an industry where online poker companies seem to go down as fast as they are set up – often making off with player balances and rake money - it should be refreshing to know that there is an online company that will continue to treat its customers with the fair play and integrity they deserve.

LuckyHog.com will continue to do whatever it takes to be the world most trusted and secure online poker system.

Thank you
Management

Thanks for stopping by, Mr. LuckyHog person. I wish stuff like this didn't happen, but I hope things go well for you at Merge. From my first-person experience I give high marks to that system.

LuckyHog.com puts its money where its mouth is: will DGS - or whatever they will be known as now - do the same?

We at LuckyHog.com entered the online poker world in March 2007 with a foundation built on integrity, trust and fair play. Unfortunately, due to circumstances out of our control our reputation as an online poker company has been tarnished due to the actions of poorly managed networks.
Everyone in the online poker industry is aware of the circumstances around networks such as Future Bet and DGS. Look no further than the former licensees to see that both networks left their client licensees – and players - in precarious situations.
LuckyHog.com continues cleaning up the mess left by Future Bet and Dynamic Gaming Systems (DGS). We at LuckyHog.com management have been paying clients out of our own pockets, honouring our commitment to them.
Now Dynamic Gaming Systems (DGS) has announced an agreement for the transfer of their network to Cintaly Holding Corporation (CHC).
There has been much speculation among our clients and the online gaming community as to what this means?
So far, no one from DGS of CHC has attempted to contact us or provide us with information on our client’s accounts.
LuckyHog.com will continue to watch closely how this “agreement for the transfer” of DGS to CHC plays out.
Will bereaved clients’ deposit accounts be locked up and “playable” - like free roll money - only on the “new” network?
It is too early to say.
However, no matter what DGS/CHC decides to do, LuckyHog.com’s current and future clients can rest assured that we will continue to honour our commitment to them.
Currently all players who sign up to www.luckyhog.com will get a $3.00 sign up bonus. Hi, Lucky,

I'm letting the site pimpage go because the rest of your comment is so newsworthy. (Normally I just delete splogger stuff on principle, in case any of you -other- sorts should be reading this.) Anyhow, it appears that you have migrated over to the Merge Network, as previously indicated; what remains unanswered, of course, is why anyone would have been doing busy with Future Bet in the first place, given their shady past history.
