Phil Laak Unabomber Poker Coming To Cake

The Cake Poker Network is growing by leaps and bounds - and not just in its player base. The offerings of the Cake Network itself are also expanding like crazy, having added 8 new sites to its roster last week, including the official poker site of Phil "The Unabomber" Laak, appropriately called Unabomber Poker (URL: UnabomberPoker.com).

Former World Poker Tour champion and World Series of Poker braceleted event runner up Phil Laak will be playing regularly at Unabomber Poker tables, giving the site’s players a chance to take their best shot at one of professional poker’s best. Laak will also be maintaining a regular blog on the site, and giving players the opportunity each month to play in his live home game at his actual home in Los Angeles, California.

But Phil Laak and his Unabomber Poker isn’t the only newcomer to the Cake Poker Network. So are R2Rpoker, BurroPoker, AmsterdamsPoker, RedbackPoker, and 7WinPoker as well as sports betting site DimeLineSports (after Cake just let go of Sportsbook.com and PlayersOnly online sports bettting sites, incidentally) and SafariCasino online casino.

This makes 55 sites in all for what was the 10th but is now the 9th biggest online gaming network, the Cake Poker Network. And all the new sites, including Unabomber Poker, will offer players the same Gold Chips, Gold Stacks, and Gold Cards player loyalty program and the same $250,000 guaranteed tournament each month.

Other sites already on the Cake Poker Network include Doyles Room, Bet US, Power Poker, and Poker Host.

Now to be a bit realistic, do we really need this many skins on the same network? What is the point of letting anyone with the twenty or fifty thousand bucks or whatever it costs to get a skin to open one? Whatever, free market enterprise solutions and all that jazz but as a player you need to be careful which skin you play at and these skins all end up just trying to scalp one anothers profit with higher and higher rakeback under the table deals or other shady shenanigans. Just stick with the best online poker sites and enjoy your poker games.
